Family favorite!Ok, I don't know about all that high-falutin techno-babble ad copy but I decided to give this ball a try. Now, I'm not a pro or anything, but I've played a lot of volleyball in my day. We used to play about 5 hours a week for many years. And in all that time, the only volleyball I ever liked, which I won't mention by name but it's yellow and white and usually considered the gold standard of volleyballs.Well, this one arrived and my initial impression was "drat, another hard, slick volleyball that I won't like." Well, I just got back from a couple of hours of playing with this ball and I can say I really like it. Not sure I like it as much or more than the aforementioned ball that I'm used to, but it's a darn good ball. I had good serve control with it, it has just enough surface friction to accurately control, and it didn't feel as hard as I initially feared.So, in the top-two of a long line of volleyball experiments. Probably 4.5 stars for the ball, rounded down because of the high cost.Okay, I'm just gonna say it. To me, a volleyball is a volleyball is a volleyball, so paying almost $40 for one seems crazy. However, I don't play much volleyball other than on the beach during vacation, and that doesn't require much more than a decent ball. My daughter does play and she is over the moon for this ball. Apparently, it's a really good one because even her coach commented on the quality, and her teammates all now want one of their own. That didn't make me the popular one with the other parents, but the kiddos sure think I'm the stuff now. According to the coach, this ball is perfect for indoor play just as it claims. He says it's a tough ball and it's very durable. As I said, I don't know squat about how this compares with other balls, but the coach says this is a great one and he recommends it.Le ballon sera utilisé pour du volley-ball intermédiaire.
