Quick to learn and teach worker placement euro that has expanding choices and multiple paths to victory. Really glad i picked it up. Its been a hit each time i broke it out.i get board after few games . so i am not sure if i really like that kind of games , though its good gameOverall, I enjoy this game - it is a lighter-weight worker-placement game that is easy to learn and fun to play. Be forewarned, though, there are two issues with this game which is why I down-voted it by two stars:1) There are several errors with the components; these have not been rectified by the publisher (as of Jan '17) and they do impact the gameplay.2) Although not needed, it is advisable to purchase the expansion for a better gaming experience; however, since the expansion doesn't really add much beyond more components and was an obvious profit-making ploy, I marked both the base game and expansion down.I really enjoyed this game. Once you play it you can see how many choices you have, and how every game can be different. Now let me also say you need to get the expansion, all the town tiles really complete this game. I do wish the box was bigger so everything fits in. but if your clever, you can figure it out. Besides all that this was the best game I've played from 2016. I wish it got more love..This is a great addition to a terrific game. The additional buildings increase replayability. The ships log is also a great addition. The 5th player option also adds another game to the table on game night. Was a surprisingly interesting game. The rule book was hard to follow so we had to find instructions online. There are certain things that I wish they had been more clear about in the rules but its overall a fun game!I like that there is a solo option if you want to play by yourself. This is an enjoyable game, which would have garnered 5 Stars, but I rated the expansion and the base game down for two major issues: 1) there were several critical errors in the game and game components that should have been caught before production; these errors have not been rectified and change the game play. 2) The expansion should have just been included in the base game.Really fun game! Takes about a half hour to really learn the game, but even then, the game mechanics are very easy to learn and simple to remember. Fun historical objects and entertaining play!Arguably turns what is a good game with limited replayability, into a great game with excellent replayability. The additional buildings are a must have, the new card decks add a new interesting element to the strategy. The fifth player is a nice to have. Including the expansion elements in the solo play gets a big thumbs up from me. Overall excellent value for money.
